In March 2025, our team set out on a two-day journey to Zhoushan Putuo, a coastal gem known for its spiritual atmosphere and breathtaking scenery. This retreat was more than a getaway—it was a chance to reconnect, reflect, and grow together.
Day One: Crossing the Sea, Finding Peace
On the morning of March 26, we departed from the city and crossed the magnificent Zhoushan Sea-Crossing Bridge—the world's longest sea-crossing highway bridge. Arriving in Putuo, we began our adventure with a visit to Zhujiajian Wushitang Scenic Area, where we immersed ourselves in the harmony of ocean, mountains, and Buddhist culture. The serenity of the temples and the grandeur of the coastal landscape set the tone for the rest of our trip.
Day Two: Temples, Legends, and Team Spirit
The second day began with a ferry ride to Mount Putuo, one of China’s Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains. We visited several iconic landmarks, including the Puji Temple, Fayu Temple, and the Huiji Temple—each offering a unique blend of history, architecture, and spiritual depth. We also stood before the awe-inspiring 33-meter-tall Statue of Guanyin, a powerful symbol of compassion that reminded us of the importance of empathy and unity, both in work and in life.
Throughout the trip, our team shared laughter, stories, and quiet moments of reflection. From scenic walks to seafood feasts, every experience deepened our connections and reminded us why we do what we do—together. At Marsa Designs, we believe that strong teams are built not just in the office, but also through shared experiences beyond it. Our time in Zhoushan Putuo was a beautiful chapter in our journey, and one we’ll carry with us as we continue to grow and innovate.
